Full time, entry/mid level, direct service position; requires following qualifications and skills:
•Bachelor’s degree with relevant work experience- preferably with senior adults in community setting
•Excellent written and verbal communication “people” skills
•Ability to work with a diverse population; and knowledge of the Jewish community
•Outstanding organizational, follow up, and detail oriented skills
•Computer proficiency in Microsoft programs including Word, Excel and Publisher; preferable to also be comfortable with database systems such as Access
•Interest in working with multi disciplinary staff team
•Ability to work flexible schedule, with 2-3 evening/weekend hours per month
Job Responsibilities Include:
•Plan and implement in house programs and trips;
•Compile, write, and submit information for monthly newsletter
•Handle program related administrative responsibilities
•track and analyze quantitative and qualitative information regarding programming participation and effectiveness
•Outreach and meet with residents and community participants
•Coordinate volunteers
