Yom Limmud: A day Of Discovery for Jewish Teens will be held on Sunday, November 22nd, from 10-12:45 PM. Yom Limmud is a fun day of exploration and discovery for Jewish teens in grades 8-12.
Participants will have a continental breakfast and choose two from 22 workshop selections including: What’s Jewish About Vampires?; Tattoos & Body Piercing: Is Your Body a Condo or a Rental?; Yoga and Body Image; HaShem Hears a Who; Cults and Missionary Groups on Campus, Jews & Comic Books; It’s Not Easy Being Green; Safe surfing and many more!

Presenters consist of Community Rabbis, Youth Directors, local Professionals and Congregational Staff. Yom Limmud attracts over 200 Jewish teenagers from throughout the Jewish Community and is sponsored by the St. Louis Jewish Youth Professionals Council, the Jewish Educators Council, local BBYO, NCSY, NFTY and USY chapters as well as the Central Agency for Jewish Education (CAJE).
Yom Limmud 2009 will be held at Solomon Schechter Day School, 348 S. Mason Rd. 63141 and is free with advanced registration, or $5 at the door.
