Women's Connection Board Honors Leslie Litwack

Women’s Connection Board members gathered this week to honor Leslie Litwack.  Leslie is the St. Louis 2010 Lion of Judah, Kipnis-Wilson Friedland Award winner and will be recognized at the International Lion of Judah Conference in New Orleans in November.  This national Lion of Judah Award established in 2004, recognizes extraordinary women who have set a high standard for philanthropy and volunteerism in their communities.  Locally, 38 women attended the program at the home of Barbara and Merwyn Sher, which included a D’var Torah by the Litwacks’ Rabbi, Carnie Rose, as well as inspiring remarks by Leslie. A St. Louis Delegation of 15 Lions will be joining
