Stacy Siwak to Receive
Top National Federation AwardSt. Louisan Stacy Siwak, 2010 recipient of the David N. and Roselin GrosbergYoung Leadership Award by Jewish Federation of St. Louis, has been selected as a 2010 National Young Leadership Award winner by the Jewish Federations of North America. She represents an elite group of talented men and women who have demonstrated their commitment to the Jewish people through community involvement and individual achievement. She will receive her award at the General Assembly of JFNA on Sunday, Nov. 7, 6 to 7 pm in New Orleans.
Stacy began her participation on a Federation “Singles” Mission to Israel in 1998 (where she met her husband, Greg). Stacy currently serves on the Executive Committee of Federation’s Women’s Connection, has taken and taught the Women’s Council for Education class, is a past Board member of YPD and is a Board Member of the JCC. She’s a past JFNA’s National Young Leadership Cabinet member, and has traveled on missions to the former Soviet Union and Berlin. She’s visited Israel several times, including for the 2008 International Lion of Judah Conference. Last year, Stacy and her husband participated in JFNA’s "Fisher Flight" program. In addition, the Siwaks led a young leadership group to the JFNA Washington Conference. Stacy was also a USA team manager for three world Maccabiah Games. She’s volunteered with JCC’s Early Childhood Center, parenting conferences and playgroups. She is a lifetime member of Hadassah.
