What is a NORC?
A NORC is a residential area in which a large percentage of individuals aged 65 and older reside.

Our
Mission:
St. Louis NORC is a non-sectarian program that supports the healthy aging of adults 65+ in their own homes by providing opportunities for meaningful community involvement and increased access to support services.

Who Is Eligible?
Age, residency and current membership are the only criteria. If you are at least 65 years of age and live within aproximately three miles of the Jewish Community Center campus in Creve Coeur, you may be a St. Louis NORC resident. Call 442-3859 to see if your address falls within our boundaries.

Note: Membership is based on a calendar year, January through December.  Dues are not pro-rated. Financial assistance is contingent upon availability of funds.

St. Louis NORC is a program originally funded by the U.S. Administration on Aging and currently supported by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services and is coordinated by the Jewish Federation of St. Louis.


NORC Volunteer Opportunities
Help Older Adults.  An hour of your time could make all the difference in an older adult’s life. NORC is a non-sectarian program of the Jewish Federation and offers exciting, meaningful opportunities for you to help others.

Volunteers are needed to help with minor home repairs and assistance, yard work, computer training/troubleshooting and much more.
