Pomegranate
The Pomegranate level of giving was established to recognize women who contribute between $1,800 and $4,999 to Federation’s Annual Campaign. Society members are entitled to wear a beautiful sterling silver pin in the shape of a pomegranate. The pomegranate fruit is one of only seven fruits mentioned in the Bible. It is said that there is a mitzvah for every seed in the pomegranate. With each $300 incremental increase, pin holders may add a ruby in the center of the pin, representing the pomegranate’s seeds.

Lion of Judah
The Lion of Judah honors women who contribute $5,000 or more to Federation’s Annual Campaign. Members can participate in local and national conferences designed especially for them. Society members are also entitled to wear a beautiful 14K gold pin in the shape of a lion, as a symbol of their commitment to the worldwide Jewish community. Each Lion of Judah pin becomes unique, as a diamond is added for each year of renewed commitment. Some Lion of Judah pins have jeweled eyes representing different giving levels. Ruby signifies a personal commitment of $10,000; sapphire, $18,000; emerald, $25,000; and canary diamond, $50,000. Those women who have endowed their Annual Campaign gifts are recognized by a pin with a special flame attached.

LOJE: The Lion of Judah Endowment
